Founded in April 2022, Clermont Main Street II is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation created with a mission to bring Clermont together through active community engagement that revitalizes our historic downtown, celebrates our history, fosters innovation and creativity, and grows our local economy for the benefit and enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.  We accomplish that by working with local businesses, residents, local government, and others to promote Downtown as a destination through special events and other community activities.  Today, CMS represents over 50 businesses and hosts over 3 major events held on the City of Clermont streets and right-of-way.

Clermont Main Street is seeking proposals for a historic preservation consultant to conduct a historic resources survey in Clermont, Florida, including a survey report conforming to Chapter 1A-46, Florida Administrative Code (FAC), and a minimum of two hundred and fifty (250) new/updated Florida Master Site File (FMSF) forms.

The survey will provide building owners with initial insight into their qualification for National Registry, as well as for Federal tax credits.  It will contribute to Florida’s collection of data on historic structures.  It will also provide necessary data regarding Historic District designation.  Finally, it can be used by the City of Clermont with FEMA funding in case of natural disaster.
