INSTRUCTIONS

Prior to submitting an application for review, please read the entire vendor application packet and then decide if your product might qualify and if you can meet and adhere to the rules of Clermont Main Street Events. If you have never attended an event with Clermont Main Street before, please do so before submitting an application. Food vendors must be properly licensed with the State of Florida Department of Agriculture (regulates mobile vendors selling pre-packaged food) and/or Department of Business & Professional Regulation – Hotel & Restaurant Division (regulates mobile vendors that prepare and serve food on site). If you are operating under Cottage Law, you must meet all Cottage Law Requirements.

EVENT VENDOR APPLICATION INFORMATION

Farmers Market Information: The primary theme of the market is related to produce, plants, and specialty foods. Other products that are accepted are intended to supplement the core theme while adding color and variety to the marketplace. The Clermont Farmers Market is NOT a flea market or craft fair. Submitting an application in no way guarantees acceptance as a vendor at the Clermont Main Street Farmers Markets or Events. The review committee will determine if a product meets the needs of the market. Item Descriptions & Photos Required.

Please list and describe in DETAIL ALL proposed items for sale in this Vendor Application. You MUST include 3-5 photos of your products and your display set up with this application. Only the products submitted through this application and listed below are approved. To add a product, you will need written approval.

TIME TO PROCESS VENDOR APPLICATIONS

Please allow 10-15 business days for review of your product and vendor application. Please note that the application process will not begin until we receive a fully completed application and pictures that display your product.

2025 Fees

2025 Application Fee = $15 (application fee is payable 1 time a year and is applied January - December) Booth space is 10x10, 10x20 or 10x30. Vendors supply tents, tent weights, tables, linens, back walls, and all items to display for sale in their booth. If approved, a 2025 application fee of $15 is due before your first day at the market and is to be included with your booth rental fee. You must pay online to reserve your booth space at Clermont Main Street Markets & Events.

Polices, Terms, & Conditions

Agreement & Understanding(Required)

I am confirming that I understand the vendor application process and agree to the terms and conditions in this Vendor Application. Further, I understand that any violation of such may result in loss of Clermont Main Street Farmers Market vending privileges.

1. By submitting this application, the Vendor acknowledges that the application submission and approval by Clermont Main Street DOES NOT reserve market space and DOES NOT guarantee market space availability. Market space is limited by product category.

2. Once an application is submitted, a review and approval will be made solely by and at the discretion of Clermont Main Street. There is no appeals process for decisions made by Clermont Main Street.

3. Clermont Main Street may deny any vendor that does not meet the needs of the market and market product quality standards. This is enforced on a case by case basis.

4. Clermont Main Street is able to cancel or modify this agreement at any time.

5. The Vendor acknowledges that Clermont Main Street's Farmers Market Policies and Procedures may be amended from time to time in writing in a timely manner and the vendor agrees to abide by the terms of any such amendments.

6. If Vendor continues to vend at the Farmers Market following the adoption of such amended Policies and Procedures, then the Vendor acknowledges that violation of such amended Policies and Procedures may result in loss of Clermont Farmers Market vending privileges.

Terms & Conditions(Required)

I am confirming that I have read the Terms and Conditions described above and I understand them. Further, I understand that any violation of such Terms & Conditions may result in the loss of the applicant’s vending privileges at the Clermont Farmers Market without the right to appeal such decision.

1. Vendor shall indemnify and hold harmless: Clermont Main Street, its staff, its Board of Directors, the City of Clermont, Ground Lessor, and employees of and the Market Manager, from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, expenses, fees, fines, penalties, suits, proceedings, actions and costs of actions, including attorney’s fees for trial and on appeal, of any kind or nature arising out of or in any way connected with this Contract or Vendor’s use of the space(s), sale of goods or conduct of business by Vendor, its agents, servants, employees, customers, patrons or invitees or any act or omission of Vendor, its agents, servants, employees, customers, patrons or invitees.
2. Vendor is responsible for all monies collected from the sale of Vendor’s goods plus collecting and reporting of sales tax. Clermont Main Street and the Market Manager are in no way responsible for any vendor sales tax, lost, or stolen monies or items.
3. Vendor assumes all costs arising from the use of patented, trademarked, or copyrighted materials, equipment, devised, processes, or dramatic rights used on or incorporated in the conduct of any Vendor at or related to its operations at the Market; and Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Clermont, Clermont Main Street, its staff and Board of Directors, Ground Lessor, employees of and the Market Manager from all damages, costs and expenses in law or equity for or on account of any patented, trademarked, or copyrighted materials, equipment, devices, processes, or dramatic rights furnished or used by Vendor in connection with this Agreement and will defend the Clermont Main Street, its Board of Directors, Ground Lessor, employees and Market Manager from any such suit or action, regardless of whether it be groundless or fraudulent.
4. This Agreement has been entered into in Lake County, Florida and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Florida and venue for any action arising from this Agreement shall be Lake County, Florida.
5. The Vendor's signature on this application indicates that Vendor has carefully read and understands all of the above terms and requirements and the attached as Exhibit “A”, Clermont Farmers Market Policies and Procedures, and incorporated herein by reference, and that any violation of such may result in loss of Clermont Farmers Market vending privileges.

Vendor's Agreement & Acceptance of All Policies(Required)

I am confirming that this application is true and complete to the best of my knowledge and ability. I understand the vendor application process and I agree to abide by the policies, procedures, terms, and conditions described in this document. Finally, I understand that any violation of the Terms, Conditions, Policies, and/or Procedures may result in the loss of Clermont Main Street Farmers Market vending privileges without the right to appeal the decision.

2024 Vendor Application Fee(Required)

This is a one-time annual vendor application fee of $16.05 that is paid when 2024 applications are submitted for review and approval. This includes the credit card processing fee.
